Winter is here!
Second Adam
I am so happy to announce the birth of a new band, ARBC's very own SECOND ADAM! These guys have been playing together for a few years as the eXalt service praise band, but now they have the chance to branch out and become a "real" band. This wednesday night will be their debut as Second Adam, but wednesday night March 12 will be their big premiere!
As the members of the Ashley River youth ministry, you have the exciting opportunity to be a street team member. What that means is that you will put your full support behind the band and get the word out to all your friends to come see them each wednesday night.
We have been so blessed with such amazingly talented guys. I can't wait to see what happens for them down the road!

update.update.update. update.update. update.

Here's a little recap of the weekend, which unfortunately caught me without camera. Can you believe that??
Anyway, here's what went down in the world of ARBC youth ministry!
Flapjack fundraiser on Saturday the 13th at Applebee's was a HUGE success. With presales, walk-ins and tips, we raised over $500. That was the easiest fundraiser we have ever done, hands down. The Mighty Middle Schoolers got a chance to show off all they had learned from the Heroic High Schoolers about service. Our servers worked their little rear ends off and made me super proud. Seems everywhere we go, arbc youth volunteers make the right kind of impression...and that's the kind that gives God the eternal glory.
It was a weekend for service....some of our current high schoolers and some who have graduated out of the youth program at ARBC were true servants as they volunteered to handle merch and handbilling at the MercyMe/Aaron Shust/ Monk and Neagle concer this past Sunday night. Here is a quote from the production coordinator..."Thank you to all the volunteers and the runners who were probably one of the best groups of volunteers I have ever worked with!''
So, once again, we give God the glory for giving us servant hearts. Just a little taste of heaven on earth, you know?
I'll say it a million times over...some of the best people on the planet are a part of ARBC youth ministry. It blows me away to know you guys!!
What's up next? SHOUTFEST!! Meet at the church saturday with $10 for gate admission and $$ for lunch/merch/extreme games. Road trip to BEAUFORT! You can check out the info on Shoutfest here

Quite possibly my favorite youtube video ever. So, does American pop culture have an impact on the rest of the world? You better believe it...
